TENNIS HOT SHOTS
Designed to encourage kids of primary school age to play tennis in a fun supportive environment. The focus is on kids enjoying playing the game of tennis with friends and being a good sport. Parents, guardians and club volunteers are encouraged to help out on-court. To promote a sense of fun and achievement, kids use modified equipment scaled especially for them. This means smaller courts, racquets, nets and low compression tennis balls
Tennis Hot Shots is the national starter tennis programme for kids and is available at over 200 venues nationwide. For more information visit the website www.tennishotshots.kiwi.

Pickleball is a fun sport enjoyed by millions of people worldwide. A cross between tennis, badminton and table tennis its played on a modified tennis court using paddles and a hollow, plastic ball with holes in it. The net is slightly lower than a tennis net.
The rules, equipment and court size are specifically designed to create a fast, fun and more rallying game. Pickleball is ideally suited to those who may be finding the tennis court a bit too big or the badminton shuttle a little too high, to those recovering from injuries, and as a family game where those of different ages, heights and abilities can all play happily together. Easy to learn, and very addictive.
